orion release verifyno longer reports commits that are already onmainas unattributed. The attribution check now inspects only the promotion range (main..develop) and asks whether a commit names a ticket at all, rather than a ticket from the version being promoted — so work correctly keyed to an earlier milestone is no longer counted as carrying no ticket key. A clean promotion verifies with zero warnings instead of a warning larger than the promotion itself. -
CommitAllhad never succeeded in a repository that gitignores a path the caller also excludes, which is Orion's own.git addtreats an explicit pathspec naming an ignored path as an error and refuses the whole invocation, so:(exclude).orion/stateagainst a.gitignoreholding.orion/exited 1 on every call, with a dirty tree or a clean one. -
That made two v0.8.3 fixes inert on arrival. OR-233 settles a worktree a stopped run left behind, and OR-234 commits the tests QA writes; both call
CommitAlland neither could ever have worked here. OR-211 lost a run to the same error earlier, reported as a mystery. -
The exclusion was redundant from the start:
add -A -- .never stages an ignored file. Orion now skips any exclusion git already ignores, so the commit happens and the ignored directory still stays out of it. -
The warning also fired when the worktree was clean, telling operators their work had not reached the pull request when nothing had been left behind. A control that reports loss where there is none is as harmful as one that stays quiet where there is.
